The Beginning

Adventure Background: A new day dawns on the village of Jadon and although the sun is shining and the air is warm, most villagers are saddened by the disappearance of Justin, Tamrak, and Charzel. A few days ago, against the better judgement of the village elders, Justin, Tamrak, and Charzel decided to explore the ruins of Velvectii's castle and have not returned. To make matters worse, yesterday the village champion, Pinthor Mull, went looking for them and he has not returned.

Hoping for the best, but fearing the worse the town's council has asked the party to search for Pinthor (Human), Justin (Human), Tamrak (Elf), and Charzel (Halfling). The party has been given strict orders to avoid the Chit and report any Chit activity to the town council immediately.

Moving to the main struture, the party finds an empty

Campaign Kick-Off May 1, 127: The party consisting of Oscar the Dwarven Fighter, Damion the Human Paladin, and Gerr the Elven Druid, leave the safety of Jadon to search for their missing friends. During their travels, the party stops at the ruins of the Traveler's Inn, about a day's journey from Jadon. Behind the Inn, the party finds an old chicken coop and the remains of an old barn. A search of these structures reveals only some old bones.
